In this sky report it says Marmaduke will return to his parent club before the weekend. Seems like tomorrow will be D day if that is correct ...

Sounds to me like the figures don't stack up, this investment is just too much of a risk, and for that reason STFC is out.

They wish Seye all the best in the future though.

It sounds like DW & AF are going to decide what they think he is worth and then make an offer and see if it is accepted, probably not around the £100,000 his club are suggesting they want though, maybe something with add-on's so it is not a big financial risk.

He is due to go back Fri night so a decision will be taken within a day or so I expect.

I'm sure someone told me that they had seen Mr Maskell recently and that he'd lost all his hair and had put on 15 stone.... can't see it myself.. perhaps they meant Syd Barrett, I often get those two mixed up myself.

What exactly was the point behind all this mystery striker bollocks in the end?

Sky Sports News are openly reporting the fact we've had Seye in on trial, and more importantly are now reporting the fact that he's up for grabs as we're not sure whether to sign him or not... Udders are probably on the phone as we speak  Wink

Surely if we wanted to keep his identity completely secret we shouldnt have uttered anything to anyone, we could've easily just passed him off as local player training with club looking to get fit.

Is this just a case of the media will always find out no matter what you do? Or was it all meant as a bit of a stunt to get the forums/fans/media crackling with excitement?
