Thanks - has he been in anything else of note that you know of? Never heard of him.

Nope, never heard of him before. Cool name though. A quick glance at IMDB reveals that he was in Superman Returns (which I've seen but can barely remember) and Red Dragon (only a voice over though) but crucially he played Skeletor in 'Masters of the Universe'!

Frank Langella - I made almost exactly the same comment a while back, which was recently echoed by Spy.

Maybe the 3 of us should be on some late night film discussion show like the culture show where we would sit around on sofas agreeing with each other.

Facial hair would help this.

Had the grave misfortune of watching a “Good” Year with Russell Crowe last night on Film 4 and by Christ I nearly pulled my eyeballs out and inserted them down my Jap’s eye.

Fucking god awful Hugh Grant style of rom-com made by fucking Ridley Scott the man who made Aliens and should be fucking executed.

I should have turned off but the girlfriend thoroughly enjoyed it.

Avoid at all costs

1/10

Oh and Tropic Thunder on Friday.  Couple of mildly amusing moments but a case of a big cast over any substance.  I can’t fucking stand most Ben Stiller stuff anyway but this was fairly woeful even by his standards.

3/10.

Just watched knowing with nicholas cage, had the makings of a classic sci fi thriller, the last 30 minutes really really really let it down badly.

Is ok and worth a look but nowt special.  A lot better than some of the recent hoolie films and it offers something a bit different to the usual fare.

I watched 'Kind Heart and Coronets' last night. Brilliant black comedy which has stood the test of time very well.
