Pearl Harbour must be the most slagged-off film I've ever encountered - same goes for Michael Bay. I personally don't get it on either front. Bay's detractors usually sound disgusted, as though he was a serial puppy-kicker or something.

He is much worse than a serial puppy-kicker.  Making Pearl Harbour should come with a minimum tariff of 15 years.  Serial puppy kicking I would give a minimum of 10.

A perfect example of the attitude I was talking about. Where does it come from?

You don't get why Pearl Harbour was slagged off? Because it's downright shit.

I didn't think it was too bad. Granted I think I was playing championship manager or something whilst watching it, but I genuinely don't see what was so shit about it. Granted, it wasn't brilliant, but I've seen worse - step forward, "Thick as Thieves" and "Mr. Woodcock"

I'm with doore. If instead of making pearl harbour michael bay had gone out and murdered 10,000 cute innocent puppies then the world would be a better place.

It's not the worst film but if it's shit I'm going to say so.

Instead of bombing Pearl Harbour those crazy Japs should have murdered 10,000 puppies.

I took it for what it was, a piece of action-adventure based in the loosest way possible around actual events.

As such I really enjoyed it.

I like it because I like the way they captured the glamour of the ladies in that era and just cause I do - I dont care if its not trendy to like it!

I quite liked it. Bollocks all to do with any actual events, but a good action film, albeit slightly too long.

What he said.

Planes + Bombs + guns + eye candy + stuff = watchable stuff.

Oh.

And I just watched sex drive for the second time, a good movie with a few giggles.

Better than the Stiller/Black/Vaughn ect type crap that you get nowadays.

 Yes

I don't think it helped I watched a dodgy version of it, but still.
