Just the film I think, watched the Alexander Masters interview in the extras which was insightful. Saw it when it was on TV, but your recommendation reminded me about it. Certainly hits home.

It's £16.88 on play.com (which seems a bit steep!) Or pm your address and I'll chuck it in the post.

Saw 1408 at the weekend, which is worth a squirt.  Nothing new or that original but a decent easy watch.

Also the original "The Fog" which was ok, bit of a slow burner but classic King.

Is that based on the short story called 'The Mist'? I'm sure I've read it but never seen it.

They're both separate Steven King short stories and I think they've both had re-made films out recently to boot.

Ah right wasn't aware that there was another.

I think the next Stephen King film I am going to try and watch is Desparation. It's got naff reviews, but I always think the naffness of a horror film often makes it good. I thought as I read the book that Ron Perlman would be the actor to play Collie, and that's exactly who plays him in the film.

Oooh I've read Desperation. On holiday when I was about 13. I don't remember what happens.

Sorry to butt in but ive just read a book by E Lynch called Somme Mud...a little harrowing at times but a true story by a real hero.
Can recommend it to any of you book lovers.
