Have to admit I dont remember him, but do we need another midfielder if Ofoborh is likely to sign? He appears to be a defensive midfielder who can take a free kick and has a powerful shot.
I only remember him as he’s the fella Will Wright stuck on his arse before smashing one top corner on the opening day.

Ofoborh's Adver interview last week didn't exactly shout from the rooftops that he was dying to stay... He'd be a big loss if he did go though.

He was the best DM in the league, remember?

He spent the season before he came to us as a box to box midfielder, scoring 6 or 7 goals. Quite why successive managers insisted in trying to get him too hold I don't know.

Well he had some sort of tackling ability so he must have looked high and above the best defensive midfielder when surrounded by the less well versed in that area like Cain, Aguiar, Kemp, McEachran, Darcy etc

Imagine if he’d have been in favour/fit at the same time as someone like Ofoborh being here then they’d have formed quite the pair with Ofoborh sitting and Khan going box to box

I thought Khan looked good at times, but prone to the odd mistake.

It's more questioning why you'd sign him if what you needed was a holding player.

He only scored 2 goals for us which isn’t great for someone who wanted freedom to get forward.

But surely part of that reason {the low yield of goals} was because he was pretty much being utilised as a CDM?

I think that he has been unfortunate just like the early days of Coterill under Kennedy, in  terms of being played out of position, expected to be the outlet from playing out from the back rather than breaking up play in the clasic CDM mould.  I hope he picks up a club that recognizes where he should play, while hopefully remaining injury free.

Seeing a fair bit of speculation on Twitter linking him with us.

I think he has Crawley written all over him.

Absolutely wank - was praying it wasn’t us when I saw the original tweet, as was the rest of L2 it seems.

Can understand why we’ve given him a new deal and he did show a lot of promise in his first 6 months here, but looked totally out of sorts last season. Thought he’d be better off going somewhere else but he may end up thriving in his new right hand side role here
