Nixon saying ‘Swindon still heavily involved here’ with regards to Joe Westley
Wouldn't mind that, effort was never lacking when I watched him and a decent bench option if not to start every week. Imagine he's the sort of grafter Holloway likes.

I like him a lot, but this makes me nervous about Smith (without basis, or knowledge, there’s just a logic to it). I’d started to hope that if we brought one in, it was Jadan Raymond (having never seen him play, apart from the tricky YouTube snippets). With Westley in, we have an embarrassment of riches up front…
Edit: Sam M has just said Raymond “isn’t a thing”, so there we go…!

I dont think this has anything to do with Smith. Holloway himself said Smith is not for sale. I reckon it would have more to do with Tabor if he's not up to it.
I wonder if it's a loan or a purchase?

If i’m correct we have lost Tshimanga and added Tabor, Bodin + potentially Westley (Drinan is now also fit). Leaves us with Smith, Tabor, Ameen, Drinan, Glatzel, Bodin, Butterworth and Westley across 2/3 positions.

The low man from that list is clearly Butterworth. Each time he did well and then got the chance to start he was poor to the point of being a non-entity. I'm 100% certain if someone wants him it'll be a Sobawale situation.

Which I think is a bit of a shame. He's really good off the bench, but the problem is that when he does well he starts the next game and is ineffective. He should be a specialist sub, which with how Holloway uses them feels like a valid role. He's a guy who just works better against tired legs and a more broken up game.

Yeah I really like him. He's so hard to play against when he's come on. If he could just learn to look up and make that final pass he'd be up there as one of the most dangerous players in the division. As is it really feels like one of those players who'll not be remembered in 5 years and then someone will go oh what happened to him?

Butterworth will probably go.
