I assume it's Les Caffery. He is still head of first team recruitment, isn't he? I imagine Holloway is heavily involved too though.
Thought he was only chief scout (the only one), I'm assuming Holloway is doing everything with player recruitment, from speaking to the player & agent to negotiating contract and then assume it will then get signed off by AFH before the club secretary sends it to the FL |

From how he's spoken about it in interview I get the impression Holloway has his own network of scouts that he's using, makes the decisions on who he want's from their recommendations, speaks to them about what he wants & expects from them etc but someone else is the one responsible for the nitty gritty of the actual contracts.

Glad to have Ripley signed on.
I see Bycroft is exploring alternative options. Shame, some decent attributes- with a bit more experience & some decent coaching think he could be a decent keeper. Not been done any favours playing behind some not very good defenders and / or some very poor defensive tactics.

I thought he was fortunate to be offered a contract if I'm honest. Certainly not in his hate club but he makes an awful lot of mistakes.

Brilliant news! Feeling weirdly positive about next season now.
As for Bycroft, he should be able to get first team football for a National League side. Seemed like a really nice lad and i think we all wanted it to work out for him but unfortunately, he just wasn’t good enough.
Also saw a rumour we’re in for Wolves defender Nigel Lonwijk
