Have to admit I dont remember him, but do we need another midfielder if Ofoborh is likely to sign? He appears to be a defensive midfielder.

Possibly with Cain out the door and Clarke shifting to CB but maybe it’s as simple as Ofoborh isn’t signing

Branco was back at the County Ground, can't imagine it has anything to do with a transfer though

Well lets hope this works out better than the last former chesterfield player that they raved about.

This is so random. Unless he has ties to the area still.

Khan was a decent enough player, but something obviously went wrong somewhere along the line. You wonder what he might have achieved under Holloway....

I'd forgotten Khan came from them. No the last one was Jeff King for all of about 2 months before he fucked off.

Khan just wasn’t a holding midfielder but for some reason our various managers over the season all seemed to think he was.

Complete & utter lack of game management, nous & discipline to play a holding role but probably quite handy travelling forward with the ball at his feet & an air of unpredictability.

Seemed from the moment Khan arrived there were constant rumours linking him with moves. I get there's no loyalty in football nowadays but at least get to the end of your first season before having your agent pimp you out everywhere.

Although at least it delivered the best twitter lie ever from his Gambian "journalist" mate claiming he'd turned down top flight moves to sign for Tranmere last summer.

Oh yes, not surprisingly I'd completely forgotten him. Terrible signing...looked good on YouTube though...

Apparently, Oldaker plays in front of the defence and is efficient at the long pass, suggesting to me that we won't be re-signing Ofoborh.  I really like Ofoborh and his ability to break up play.  It only makes sense signing Oldaker if there is pace ahead of him each side of Smudger.  But, what do I know?  Let's see what tarnspires.

He was the best DM in the league, remember?
