Normally you’d be well happy with £500k as very few high performing first teamers go for that much at this level. However, will the club actually see much of this money or will it just get lost when a certain individual takes his cut?!

He’s come up through the ranks hasn’t he, rather than been brought in by said individual, so it should be the club that retains all profits. Ameen on the other hand..

Ameen came in after being released by QPR.
Deals for youngsters carry very little money upfront anyway - so don’t think these hypothetical sales would see much money come into the club regardless of our accounting (…or lack of)

Wouldn't be a surprise. Probably our best player to play the whole season

I ask this politely - on what basis? He’s a defender who can’t defend

The way I see it is on his ball carrying and attacking intent.
Yet I can totally see your point though. It shouldn't be his job. But it somehow was

It was a low bar to be fair - the statement included the whole season, which limits you to several shit performers. We didn't finish where we did due to a bit of bad luck.

Yeah. If you take loans and half seasoners into account he's not on the list

Well, if some guy on twitter said it…
I think Dokes would be at asset in a better, more stable team - either as a wing back or the (only) CB who is allowed to drive forward and join the midfield / attack
