9th favourites to win the league currently and you don't see a poor bookie so they say. I'd be surprised if Wycombe were to struggle this season.
They've also just been taken over by a multi billionaire whose looking to splash.

Money doesnt guarantee success but it certinly makes it easier to achieve.

Don’t see a poor bookie but you do still see stupid odds (both ways) in the lower leagues Simon Cox 50/1

And even when he was at FGR he had a house in Swindon, Rovers makes sense if it’s a deal like UGM/Lavinier last summer.
I thought he lived in Oxford, he's always posting on instagram whilst being at the David Lloyd gym there

That is a real shame.
Losing FBT and UGM has taken the shine of the recruitment so far for me. Need some serious incomings.
Hopefully we got a decent fee.

The fact we flog anyone once a potential transfer fee is involved, seemingly regardless of impact on the squad, continues to give me the hint as to why Standing let the sale go through without blocking it himself. His whole deal with Power was predicated on taking a share of transfer revenues, it would not be unreasonable to assume he gave Clem the green light provided such a deal remained in place. Wakeling's sale last year being a prime example - it made zero footballing sense, and given it's timing his wage was baked into our expected costs for the season. Selling him was all about the cash, and had to be about repayment, again, given the timing.

I like UGM, but he is a very specific kind of defender (at least as a CB) that needs a certain style of football to get the best out of. Maybe for the best that he got his move, if we're looking for more no nonsense defending this year. Without knowing the feeling it's hard to say if it's good business.
At least it's early in the window, not like Wakeling.

Yeah look a good offer from Burton and/or kennedy not being sure of him in his set up, who knows the reason.
We really need to see some good incomings very soon. If playing 3 at the back we have just one senior player in that position at present, and then Minturn. Lots and lots of work to do.
