Great if Kemp signs. Very surprised if it happens.
If I had the choice between Morfuni and Disorganised Crime Group staying, but signing Kemp and Young, or wiping the slate clean and having some credible owners, I know which one I’d choose.

I've got a weird feeling he's found some money to do some things being discussed. wherever it's short term just to pull the wool sell season tickets, or something genuine and long term - well we all have our suspicions. while there's a Hart, Austin and Keily around I'll not be convinced. Maybe this and Hall setting it up before was all part of the plan to turn the 'heat' down. Nothing would surprise me

Yes, I don't give a toss about short term sticking plasters at this point. Everything should be about new ownership. That said, maybe I'll bump into the plumber over Christmas and fall for his Jedi mind tricks. "We are freezing season ticket prices. I've got new investors. We are signing Kemp. This journey has just begun. Hold on to your hats and enjoy the ride. The good times for our magical club are coming."

I can quite believe they’ve spoken to Kemp and he’s happy to stay.
To be fair that’s the easy bit, agreeing terms with him, maybe Agreeing a fee with MK, almost certainly not happened

There are parts that don’t add up. I don’t believe MK are skint, to the extent that they couldn’t pay us any remaining fee for Twine. Even if that was the case, there will be other suitors for Kemp in League One, who could pay the same or more than us, which allows MK to pay the Twine fee (if there is one).
Whatever it is, I hope this is the last trip Morfuni makes to the club.

There might possibly have been a pre-agreed fee as part of the loan. That said, you’d think his agent would be telling him to go anywhere but here!

Kemp is almost 25, he doesn't want to be languishing in the bottom tier if there's interest above that works for him so agree with the sentiment posted above, he'd be daft to join permanently unless he can walk away in the summer with ease (if things don't go well/to plan during the second half of the season).
Also, the notion of Kemp joining is all well and good but, as already proven, he can't do it alone. After two years of patching things together, there needs to be a strategy to build an entire squad.

Can confirm Clem was there last night for a bit, some folks went for photos and asked him to sign stuff as well. He didn't say anything over the PA though.

If he joins us he will 100% be Jaiyesimi 2.0 and off to Pompey or somewhere before the August window slams shut. Chris Kiely spotted in a new Bentley shortly afterwards.

Maybe he’s enjoying his role at Swindon and doesn’t want to go elsewhere and be a bit part player - Payne hardly benefited from his move to Charlton. It would be good to build the team /squad around him. Having said that every player has their price and there probably would be a clause in his contract. If he is staying on at least until the end of the season great. I think Flynn needs this transfer window and the summer.

As with everyone else i would be amazed if Kemp signs on a perm (18month+), and sure he can't do it on his own. We should have signed him perm in the summer, all the signs were there based on Hartlepool loan. If we do sign him, its a great bit of business. He is an asset you can flip for a profit at worst, and at best i think he's the best in his position at this level that i have seen. He's got more end product than a DJ/Anderson, and i'm sure would be able to contribute more than them at league 1 level. Anyway don't think it happens while Clem is trying to sell the club, so i remain very worried about Jan.
