Unrealistic replacements.... anyone who is any good... If we bring in anyone other than a couple of bums who no one else wants, 5 minutes before the window slams shut my gob will be well and truly smacked... Just saying what you did I guess, just in a slightly different way... |

If Kemp and Young go and we can’t replace like for like then I wouldn’t mind if we got two wingers in, went 4-3-3, Austin/another up top and the wingers + Hutton and Kokolo/FBT at full back bombing crosses into the box.
Very basic but it’ll be very hard to replace Kemp/Young like for like quality with our peanuts budget.

Personally believe 433 is a much stronger and better formation, however Flynn does not agree. He has openly stated its 3-5-2, or a 4-3-1-2. We have used the later, which is essentially a diamond in midfield. Even with a 4-3-3 it probably leaves us more problems as i dont think Austin can play the lone striker role, and we have no natural wingers (though i know a lot claim Hutton could be). Either way honestly our entire front line needs rebuilding, and rebuilding quickly. |

It will be interesting to see if Flynn changes the style of play. The early season expansive style was against the grain at what he used at Newport and Walsall who were tough to beat and big brick shithouse centre backs.
I wondered if the style was forced by the players he couldn't get rid of or unable to get his 'type' in. The current bunch couldn’t play League 2 shithouse sneak a 1-0, 2-1 so he went down the expansive game?
