I say this with absolute hope that any good comms we hear do come to fruition, but it’s absolutely mental to me that after months of consistent evidence that trusting this club on its words is a risky game, the first good PR we’re hearing since the owner gets in the country is being lapped up by anyone without some scepticism, not to mention coming out in cryptic tweets from a fan podcast when it’s clear as day we need proper and clear communication directly from the club.
Good to at least see reasonable scepticism in the response to it. Need action, not words, January is the tipping point but I think we’re as tipped as we can be right now.

Yep, seems an odd line of communication to spread what is potentially (if true) decent news. Could put it up on the clubs website and get the social media team to post it all over the multiple platforms… …or we could tell someone whose part of a fans podcast that’s up the clubs arse anyway… Yeah…! |

In fairness even if it was true that we’d nearly agreed a deal for Kemp (I can’t imagine for one second is it is) that could mean we’ve agreed a fee with Franchise - doesn’t mean Kemp will actually sign or vice versa. We’ve tentatively agreed a contract with Kemp but now need to finalise an offer with MK. …or maybe we are signing Martin Kemp for the concert in the summer! …or the most likely way he’d stay here is if we’ve agreed with whoever is buying him in the window that he’ll see out his loan here… I imagine none of the above is going to come to fruition |
