Serious question, because I don't know much about him, but is he worse than Ward?
Would he be an adequate backup keeper
When I have seen him against us for Mansfield and Exeter he has never impressed me, his kicking is appalling and doesnt really command his area, I would say hes on a par with Ward TBH. Save percentage - out of 33 League Two goalkeepers who made 10 or more starts this season, Pym had the third worst save percentage.
Goals Prevented = number of goals a keeper has conceded minus the number of goals a keeper would be expected to concede based on the quality of shots he faced: Out of 25 League Two goalkeepers, Pym ranks 20th out 25 in Goals Prevented at -6.8. Vigouroux had a goals prevented score of +6.1, and nine keepers had a score above 0.

Fair enough. It would be nice for us to have a keeper that we could keep for a few seasons, but I guess it’s better to have a good keeper on loan for a season than one who is ours but not as good. Will be interesting to see who we do get in, I think Brann could do with a season playing men’s football, even if that’s in the non leagues

TBH I dont think any L2 keeper we have faced this season has been very impressive and I include Vigs in that, he just had a decent defence in front of him this season, he still flaps at crosses and soem of his kicking is pretty poor but he was the best of a very bad bunch.
I didn't realise that Sol Brynn only missed 2 games this entire season a total of 49 games, thats some achievement, the 2 games he missed were the away defeat at Walsall in the League Cup and the home defeat to Crystal Palace in the AMC when Lewis Ward deputised both times.

I though Tomas Holy at Carlisle was pretty good, the kind of monster of a man that many would love to see - 6' 9!

I have to be honest I don't remember him or him being so big at all, he still never kept a clean sheet against us tho We need a huge commanding keeper to come and claim crosses much like Benda did under Wellens. I am sure there are some out there.

Travers was a good example of someone who was a decent sized keeper (6ft 3ins) who had played against men. He came in having played 20 odd games in non league (for Weymouth) but was immediately an upgrade. Someone similar wouldn’t be a bad signing

And then came the Sheridactyl and his 'man management'...

Travers was a very good keeper, shame Sheridan pissed him off and made him go back to Bournemouth. Did well in the Premier League too apart from one game vs Liverpool when he conceded 9.
