Jephcott won't be going back. Whether we want him or not.

Chances are we're paying 100% of his wages. Plymouth don't need him taking up their budget to not even make their matchday squad. he also can't play for anybody else this season.

Then again, people like Matt Walker exist so you never know.

Yeah but he is an absolute pudding!

I know it's only rumour, but that's poor.

If we said we didn't want him after 6 months that's also poor. If it's genuinely mutual then less so.

Sounds a right mess.

Assuming the truth is somewhere in there

Presumably we accepted the highest/best offer which presumably came from Dion Burton.

I feel like most people know a Dave Pearson. Just seems to fit the name Dave

I know its an unfair comparison but Charlie has shown way more in his 2 games than Jeff has in his time here. Unless we go 4-4-2 I can't see him and Austin playing in the same team. He might have to make do with replacing Charlie after 70 minutes or so, depending on how the game is going.

Totally agree, they tried yesterday and it didn't work for him. Jephcott will go on to be that player that we see do well elsewhere in the right formation and we all remember as being poor

Yeah, I mean his goal tally for Plymouth in league 2 showed he is no mug but he just doesn't suit the way we play. Maybe Jody might tweak and make something work? Time will tell.

I think Jephcott needs a traditional 442 with two wide en getting in crosses etc.
