Perfection is not attainable

Think one thing people need to factor in with regards to Iandolo is his worth to us is more than it would for Crawley due to him being one of the few 'homegrown' players we have, of which we are obliged to have at least 1 in the matchday 18.

Minturn, Parsons et Al can fulfil this role instead but would prevent them from developing through a loan move. Iandolo's versatility is key as well as a sub option.

Quote
A homegrown player in the EFL is any player, regardless of nationality, who has been registered with any club associated with the English or Welsh FA for at least 3 years before reaching 21 years old.

The homegrown player rule for the EFL is similar to that of the EPL!

The number of homegrown players for each squad is also the same, at 8 players.

I am guessing you mean the Minimum of 1 club-developed player OR name up to 6 substitutes (rather than 7) in the game.

Quote
A ‘club-developed’ player is defined as one who has been registered to the club for at least a year before the end of his under-19 season

Well it is, as he's been linked to Crawley, along with Gladwin. Hence the discussion about his worth to the team

Ha, that would be hilarious. The great thing about losing a not very good manager is that he rates not very effective players. If we were to get cash for two of the players who've made big contributions to our toothlessness this season, then Crawley are our bitches.

But there is a clear difference between "he is a squad player" and "he is a terrible player who is stealing a living."

He's just not that. He's fine. He's not going to drive us to promotion, but he's also not Taylor Curran.
I think he is terrible but not stealing a living. All opinions though isn't it i suppose

Middlesborough are considering recalling Brynn as they have had a number of clubs wanting him on loan

Thought can only play for two teams in a season?

I think there is a cut off date the EFL set for loans to be recalled

yeah, the end of the window.

it may be we have a clause in the loan contract to say "by this date" though

No news on Blake-Tracey either as i would have thought he would have gone back by now so the new manager can look at him?

it's not in the published EFL rules if it is. They just say "winter window".

I do agree we have had a mid month cutoff before, you aren't making that up.

I've either missed it, it's changed, or it was contractual

Think it's contractual - a quick Google found some verbiage about season long loans only be able to return during the transfer window, subject to there being a Recall clause.
