I know it's a bit of a nonsense, but I don't think giving Adeloye the #9 shirt really helped. If you get that shirt, the expectation is that you're a definite first team regular, not a bit of a punt.

Barring injuries I'd be surprised if RHM wasn't playing League Two football in a few years. I'd be amazed if Adeloye was.

Adeloye will probably go on to find another L2 club then score in every game we play against said club for the next 6 years.

RHM will probably score a goal for us be lauded, signed a new two year contract and get injured 7 minutes into the next game and spend the whole time injured.

Yeah. I was definitely putting an injury caveat in there. The man just doesn't seem to be able to stay fit.

Lindsey after Iandolo and Gladwin, welcome to them both. Got a load more he can have too if he’s interested?

I would rather we sell and let a new manager get some fresh faces in.

Unlike a lot of the summer recruits who have only played under Lindsey - Iandolo has been distinctly average at best for many years under many managers in many positions in many formations, so would lose no sleep over his departure.

Gladwin still has a bit about him but at this point in his career with his injury history & age doing him no favours, he’s a luxury player. One you need to get the ball to but you also need the rest of your midfield to do all this running & tracking. I’d rather he stayed but again wouldn’t lose any sleep over his departure.

Two players who imo aren’t going to get any better than they already are. Unlike say a Darcy or a Shade or may just look better under a different manager / different position / different formation / different tactics.

Been wondering that.

Also wondering how real the Hughton interview thing is reported by them now.

Although they have been right on a few things.

Iandolo will struggle staying at even conference level after leaving. He's a truly limited player with no discernible quality, at all. Zero creativity, movement off the ball is basic, poor decision maker in advanced areas, no pace and cannot defend for toffee,  yet he's another who has fell on his feet a few times by being at a basket case club and ended up getting games at the level he has done for so long.

He'll be another soon enough who most will look back in years to come and wonder how the fook he made so many appearances for Town.

I thought Iandolo had been a decent utility/squad player until this season when he's been frankly, shit.

Gladwin is hit and miss and after a few good games early on this season, if been mostly miss.

Lindsey going after players he doesn't seem capable of getting the best out of is ironic, to say the least.
