No idea about the manager support but fan support only comes from a player showing a decent amount of ability on the pitch, that hes able to step up and do a job for us.

Admittedly though, him and Jephcott have not had hardly any service so far to show their actual ability but the difference between the 2 is that Jephcott looks a far more capable player if he is given the service any striker needs.
He has the exact same game time as RHM who i would argue in terms of league games has shown us nothing whatsoever either imo yet gets a lot more support online. Fans made their minds up really early with this one

In regards to the manager comment what i mean was look at the appearances he has made, he has been bought on to protect a lead but not when we are chasing the game. Left as unused sub when we are chasing a win

You are probably right.

I guess with RHM he has had a useful cameo or two and there is some slack because he is coming back from injury.

Mind you, Adeloye was a also injured.

RHM gets some slack due to coming back from injuries but you are correct in what you’re saying about Adeloye.

Swindon fans in judging a player too quickly, shocker…
That’s about the 4th time this season already.

Yeah both not played enough but one gets a lot more support in my opinion

Indeed, remember Brynn was getting pelters at the start of the season because some wanted Ward to play, and he’s a player of the season candidate now

If it helps, I don't think much of RHM either.  His career suggests a player with a bit more talent in his toes than Adeloye, but poor output and ability to stay fit.

Because on the rare occasion the ball gets to RHMs feet, he looks like a professional footballer. Adeloye looks like a fish out of water constantly.

I don't agree with abuse, but the criticism is valid.

criticism  is fine, i personally think though RHM has been just as bad. I have seen little to suggest he is much better

RHM can and does run. Fans are, and always have been, much more tolerant of players who clearly run about and try but aren't very good than those who stand around watching football happen to them.

Yeah being willing to show you're putting in effort does give you a lot more leeway, but he has looked better with the ball when he's had it definitely. Both has shot service though.

Yeah you are right there Tomi looks very lazy. This isn't a defence of him by the way just thought he was written off very early

Can't work out if its that or a slight lack of awareness. As Dave said, he scored 11 last year. Maybe its all confidence related

It reeks of Taylor Curran - the lack of awareness/speed of thought needed at the Professional level (OK, he is not that bad, but the same methodology).  I mean, even Div 4 players are so far beyond what most of us could ever produce on a football pitch.  Adeloye looks like one of us having a bash, like the game is going on around him.  I have no doubt he is well above my best, but I am not sure top of the table Div 4 is his level.  The game slows down the further you drop (even if it doesn't look that way).  I reckon he has to think more, about where to be, what pass may come etc.  By the time he has done that it is too late.

The Curran example that springs to mind was the away game at Gillingham he played in.  There were several moments where it was obvious he wasn't aware of where he needed to be and was being told where to go, which in turn was creating confusion for him as he tried to process that while seeing the game going on in front of him.  Adeloye looks a lot like that at times.

I think the difference is that RHM is a couple of years younger and has been ravaged by injuries so get him fit and he may be good enough.

However Adoloye had failed at pretty much every one of the 12 non-league clubs he played at scoring at roughly 1 in 10 in the conference, then had 1 half decent season at in the Scottish Championship - which is conference level.

It was always going to be unlikely that he would be able to step up.  An odd signing to say the least
