Lower league journeyman, 26, who really hit form last season with Ayr in the Scottish Championship.

I’ve posted before, this type of signing is preferable to another young, raw loanee.

Really like the look of the recruitment now. Obviously I doubt all will prove to be up to standard but it's exciting watching it unfold.

I'm expecting Khan to be done and announced today. Could it be a Friday double header for Adeloye as well?

And the Swansea CB maybe?

Pretty nailed on statement there. Better do some research on him i guess.

All I can find is that he was released from Stoke 7 years ago and got 14 goals in 38 games for Ayr last season?

Jesus he has been about https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/tomi-adeloye/profil/spieler/317449

Saw a thread on a Kilmarnock forum where they were discussing links with him. Overwhelming opinion seemed to be no thanks, he’s a cart-horse who needs multiple chances to score 1.

I noticed from the Ayr Website that Adeloye was in the 'in discussions' category so I wonder if we've been sniffing about him for a while. 1 in 3 in the Scottish second division last season and sounds like he was in demand. I wonder which clubs we have 'beaten off' to secure his signature.

Alan Nixon has just put an article up which is behind a paywall about Swindon swooping for a striker, assume it’s this lad mentioned

Interestingly before the paywall, all that man seemed to talk about on Twitter was bloody Derby County. Why anyone would pay him for regurgitated crap from third party journos, agents and fans forums I’ll never know.

Kilmarnock are Ayr's big rivals. I expect they do not want to entertain signing players from them, especially now Killie are in the top division having won promotion! Take what they say with a sack of salt.

What level is Jock Championship, though? Seems a good number of English non league players head oop north.

Scottish Championship is toilet right?

This guy has had one decent season at that level at the age of 26.

We are taking some real punts on players with this guy and Khan, especially if they are being considered the experienced players based on age.

Lets hope this all works out.

With three loans still to use as well the squad size is encouraging at least.

Well, Lindsey said he wanted a squad size of 25 which I’m guessing we must be fairly close to. Even loans need paying.

Well it may be 25 if he shifts a few out on loan as well.

Not using your loans when you can get the standard of player from prem/championship clubs we have over the years would be foolish imo.

21 in the squad today, not including Payne, Hunt, Lyden, any scholars or these two new rumoured signings. But including Minturn & Cowmeadow the first year pros. Squad thread has the list.
