Someone did mention this regarding Payne but my mind has now been occupied by wondering what kind of data Conroy and Hunt were showing last season and would we be interested in them if they were playing for someone else. I’m guessing not due to wages alone. AK stats and age may have shown up on our radar. I’m hoping Khan does indeed sign as he seem to be able to play the Reed role and a more advanced role too.

Has a very similar profile to Khan. Maybe he’s the big target man. If so, it’d be preferable to another loanee. Although, Ayr fans seem to think he’s off to Kilmarnock.

He's 1m 87 cm or 6ft 1in - Not overly big.

Compared to what we have atm he is! Rather take a chance with someone like him than another young loanee.
This is a weird recruitment season for us - paying for players. Whatever next!

It does suggest a bit of continuity and an eye on longer term planning. For me it's a big ask for it all to click straight-away and getting out of this league this season isn't a given. Clearly the goal is to get promoted and really hope we can do it this season.

Alan Nixon has just put an article up which is behind a paywall about Swindon swooping for a striker, assume it’s this lad mentioned

Kind of admire someone making money from repeating otherwise already stated rumours.

Swindon Town are signing striker Tomi Adeloye after winning a big race for the hit man.
Adeloye is in for a medical to complete the deal after quitting Scottish side Ayr United and picking Robins over a handful of teams.
Clubs in Scotland and England tried for far travelled Adeloye who will lead the Swindon attack in a much-changed line up.

I'm expecting Khan to be done and announced today. Could it be a Friday double header for Adeloye as well?
