Another CB, ffs

This only from a guess thrown out by a Sun Journalist!

I don't believe anything he says

In fairness to Sheridan I think another CB would be a good thing. We made a complete mess in this position at the start of the season. Massive mistake by Wellens going into the season with Conroy, Baudry and Fryers as our main CB options. Big risk that Conroy might get injured next month with multiple double gameweeks.

Did he shit in your slippers or something?

Most of what he says turns out to be correct, at least regarding STFC.

The CB's we have are good enough, when they are confident and playing well, not a state that will happen under Sheridan. Could they be improved upon, sure. Conroy made a tit of himself for the goal yesterday and still doesn't look fit to me.

I don't think it matters who we sign with Sheridan. He's fucked the team about so much there just looks to be no plan, no system of play, no nothing. Its also fucking depressing to keep getting loans in, though i guess better than letting Sheridan okay permanent signings. As many have said before, do loan players really care about a relegation fight?

On paper Lindsay is a good signing. It would also allow Dino to play 352 without touching Curran.

But it's irrelevant. Good recruitment totally destroyed by a clown.

But he’s yet another player that hasn’t played for ages.

we'll surely be trying to sort out the midfield if Smith is going and Grant frozen out

or least, ahead of a bloody CB.

and yet this and the Evans link .... maybe not

He does, and with the playing staff we currently possess excluding those who are injured and Sheridan has pissed off leave us basically with Masterson and Conroy as the only selectable CB's having to rely on the ultra reliable Curran if we want to play 3.

Its blatantly obvious with Broadbent/Fryers injured, Ground and Baudry who seem to not wish to either play for us or be at the club and the only other option is Anthony Grant at CB, a position he is not comfortable in and also he is not rated by Sheridan even in his natural position, it would seem having only played 2 mins in the last 5 games, a cameo at Ipswich in the final minute seems to suggest this.

So if Sheridan does indeed wish to play 352/532 then we do not have anywhere near enough options at CB as even he must be able to see that Curran is not good enough.

Meanwhile we still need to get another 30 points from the remaining 21 games😊

We have Odimayo also that is a CB,so I’m guessing Sheridan sees him more as a wing back/full back..

Yeah TBH I forget he could play at CB as Sheridan seems to prefer him at RB, and he has only been played for about 50 mins in the last 4 or 5 games too.
