He's gonna become a great player. Wasting his development playing under the dinosaur - good luck to him.

If Sheridan didn’t want him I’m fully expecting to see Ngolo Kante rock up at the County Ground as his replacement. Must have something very special lined up. Over to you Shezza, useless twat.

Hi, Ngolo. I’m Shezza. Can you play centre back?

With the ability of 20:20 hindsight, the recalling of Twine and Palmer was probably the catalyst. The possibility of Scott Twine being transferred might have left the option open to keep Matt Smith but no doubt money was involved, now paying full wages to our own players again I would assume.
The fact that our current manager has not got a clue how to use a very talented player obviously weighed against the lad as why have a player who wants the ball, keeps it on the deck and passes it very well in the side? Answers on a stone tablet please.

Thanks for the update - a bit ominous that the player in second is also in the bomb squad and the player in third seems to get sniped at every few press conferences too.
Hard to see him being caught by anyone other than DJ.
I suspect Travers may eclipse all contenders by the end of the season. With the usual outcome for a season that sees a goalkeeper regularly get MotM. Can we all vote for Matt Smith as player of the season in the various end of season awards votes just to troll the fuck out of this epic low point in what is already a complete shitshow of a season?

I unfortunately agree I think Travers has been out most consistant performer since he arrived anyway, you can always tell a bad season when the keeper wins player of the season, it could go that way here.

Clueless fuckwits, both Sheridan for ruining numerous players and Power for allowing it to happen. My interest in this club is hanging by a thread..

Has to be one hell of an afternoon for the club to save face after losing Smith. Deadline day in a relegation battle would normally be a day you to improve on what you have. Post Ipswich we looked ok, but Sheridan and co have already managed to make Thompson and Twine look ineffective. Travers won’t be scoring the goals to keep us up. Some effort that. Good luck to Matt Smith. Showed some of the others that one of the main factors of playing at a higher level is that you try.

I have a feeling any additions will be loans and any additions will not be in positions that we currently need. Not felt this disinterested, hopeless, uninvloved and disconnected from the club in many years, this is entirely down to the blasé couldn't care less attitude shown by the manager. Any new signings will be greeted with a From me today.

taking additional loans is senseless though. well be wasting some players thanks to the 5 limit in the squad.
not saying we won't do it mind
maybe we'll unearth a free agent or two 'until the end of the season'

I know exactly where you are coming from. The pain has become less, focussing on other things not STFC and now that cloud of apathy is back with me. Well not bad going for 12 months without it. Need a new start and fingers crossed that Power fucks off sooner than later taking Jurassic John with him. How dare for us to believe that we were on the up again?

Deadline day and how quiet it is for rumours for stfc....I'm sure tomorrow we will get told "we tried but could not get them over the line in time, I'm confident we have enough in the squad to escape relegation"
