Lower Champ or higher L1. Also what the player wants isn't always what they get. The decision is Arsenal's in where they best see his further development; that appears to be Charlton and has been suggested that it will be announced tomorrow.
A Play Off chasing team would be a great step, especially if they do get into them. Valuable experience and I'm sure he'll probably help them to achieve it.
He will do well in any team that is technically good or technically well managed. Town under Sheridan is not it.
makes sense.

Did anyone seriously think we had a chance with that one?

Even if we did, it didn't seem to make any kind of sense anyway. Pretty sure, we've now got enough (or nearly enough) defenders to field a whole XI just of defenders

Him coming in would have meant NINE centre back options at the club. 9 for fuck sake.

Fuck me! The management is so fucking blinkered shirt sighted and so fucking inept. The saying is sleep walking to relegation, well not in our case we're fully aware of what's going on. Oh well Harrogate is a lovely place so a weekend away would be nice.

A huge shame that it ended like this, but definitely the best thing for the player's development.
Have to hope this isn't the 2005/6 Rory Fallon leaving moment when we look back at the season.
CC: Red Frog - how far ahead is M Smith of the field in the MotM votes? Will be interesting to see if he gets caught before the end of the season.

Matt Smith has 6 MoMs, next is DJ on 3. Smith's last MoM was the Accrington debacle - at that point he had 28% of all votes cast for the season to date. Despite tailing off significantly in recent months, he's still some way in front with 14% of all votes cast, ahead of Odimayo then Jaiyesimi, both on 8%. Clearly the TEF's favourite player of the season so far, by a distance. But what do we know?

Thanks for the update - a bit ominous that the player in second is also in the bomb squad and the player in third seems to get sniped at every few press conferences too. Hard to see him being caught by anyone other than DJ. You'd have got some odds on January 1st of Tyler being the last Smith standing, wouldn't you!
