was quite refreshing to see the teams on a whiteboard outside the clubhouse! none of the normal 'A. Trialist' malarky

yes I went
I'd move Anderson on. mind you I thought he looked ok tonight until I realised woolery was playing as #10
not much to say about have really. typical first friendly. 2 up in 5 minutes, bit post twice in first half and flitted between comfortable and slightly scrappy. Liverpool keeper didn't have anything to do.
second half I didn't know who was who mostly. striker worth another look. not impressed by #27 whoever he was.
no real conclusions to be made yet

It would be more encouraging if we actually got one over the line. Thus far a commendably smooth close/pre-season, but with 4 and a bit weeks to the opener, we might now be starting to see potholes in the road. |

Definitely Diagouraga and McGlashan. Every other 'first team' absentee from last nights game was name checked in the RW's interview, so thats Baudry, Broadbent, Rose and McCormick. |
