broadbent was there. maybe carrying knock?
also looked like our ex-mk Frenchman was holding his hammy a bit when he walked past.
did I imagine us signing Danny rose?
was quite refreshing to see the teams on a whiteboard outside the clubhouse! none of the normal 'A. Trialist' malarky

Perhaps one of the two he is trying to move on. Did anyone go tonight?

yes I went
I'd move Anderson on. mind you I thought he looked ok tonight until I realised woolery was playing as #10
not much to say about have really. typical first friendly. 2 up in 5 minutes, bit post twice in first half and flitted between comfortable and slightly scrappy. Liverpool keeper didn't have anything to do.
second half I didn't know who was who mostly. striker worth another look. not impressed by #27 whoever he was.
no real conclusions to be made yet

Hard to judge, but did any of the new signings or trialists look good?

Extremely encouraging to hear we are actively pursuing players of the calibre of Maynard and Mayor - as good as you will find at this level.

5 more he says. Guessing Ballard will be one as he played tonight.
2 strikers a winger and a centre mid.

It would be more encouraging if we actually got one over the line. Thus far a commendably smooth close/pre-season, but with 4 and a bit weeks to the opener, we might now be starting to see potholes in the road.

Definitely Diagouraga and McGlashan. Every other 'first team' absentee from last nights game was name checked in the RW's interview, so thats Baudry, Broadbent, Rose and McCormick.

Well you hope so anyway!
