Clearly he's a bit of a home boy. Doubt he would've ever left us in the first place if it was up to him.

He may well have stayed if it wasn't for a fucking mad Italian.

Seems like some on here have got under some Cambridge fans thin skins with the comments about them not being able to afford Smith.

https://cambridgeunitedfc.proboards.com/thread/6501/transfer-rumours?page=1628

Read it and have a laugh, its fun.

Hi Cambridge fans Bye

Comments likeAll I will say is John Beck. (shudders).

That's a shame,  I always cheer them on in their number one sport, the boat race.

Does he mainly play in the AMC role or more of a wide striker in a front 3 ?

Seems to be more of a support striker than an attacking midfielder.

He seems to play in the advanced advanced attacking midfield/number 10 or even 2nd striker role but also plays wide right and is mostly right footed.

He’s an intelligent footballer and will do well in league two I reckon. A good signing for Swindon.

Disappointed to see him go but completely understandable. A really good player IMO.

Personally I would not be particularly cross if we sold to Manchester City for a few million and Jack Grealish on loan...

100k upfront with a 50k promotion bonus.

this is from the same account who broke the Bodin and Munroe deals, so reason to believe it's not bollocks.
