Bodin's been rumoured pretty solidly for about 18 months now, think it's just a case of when his wage demands come down to a level we're willing to pay.

Lives in Shrivenham and if he wants to be local he won’t find much better.

Unsure how true, but Bodin wanted to come last year but we backed out. (no idea of the reason why)

It does seem to have some weight to it. Wonder if its loan or paying out rest of his Burton deal

Can't see us paying to do it, nor should we. Reckon it's a Sobowale situation given he was out on loan at Reading last year

The bid from Cambridge was 75k across 2 installments according to Moosehead.
With zero up front!

What happen at Burton? 4 goals in 10 games is decent.

Wages. I understand Bodin will sign this week after terminating his contract at Burton, good move all round, 33 is far from past it. What happen at Burton? 4 goals in 10 games games is decent.
I have been told he didnt like the distance of the daily commute, hence his loan move to Reading when the move to Town fell through.

Re Smith
My concern is, you wouldn't put in a bid for a player if you didn't think he wanted to come. That's just a waste of everybody's time. I'm guessing he's already had the 'you can earn this much and have a 3 year deal' conversation with his agent or whatever. Let's just hope he doesn't have his head turned. Would be nice if we can just get his new deal sorted and put this to bed.

You mean like the bid we made that was accepted by Grimsby only for Vernam to come down and say I don't want to move?
