If this AV lad story is true it must be Clems team doing the talking.

All I can think of is "Tyvek" when I see his name. All over it like a cheap overall!

I don't know the specifics but, just speaking generally, restrictive covenants can potentially be released by agreement or via certain statutory provisions.
This is true the sport covenant has been spoken about on here a lot and its only about £1m to end it IIRC. So if anyone wants the land they will have to stump up a little more than going rate but not enough to scupper any deal. Very highly rated winger.

Could be rubbish, it could the new manager making moves behind the scenes. The football world in this country knows what is going on, they talk, in hushed tones and with a nod and a wink as well as straight from the lip. Hard to keep these things secret for too long. Let’s be open, we all know that next week is likely to be the start of the new era. That puts us a week to two weeks behind the preseason loop on its own, never mind recruitment. Clem has said he has a manager and a CEO lined up, they’d be remiss if they’ve not been working behind the scenes likely as not with Michael Standing helping to oil the wheels and make introductions don’t you think?, after all they’re both working hand in glove to slay the cockney chancer. And another thing, don’t be surprised that Standing v Power gets settled at the same time too, maybe a tall order but not beyond the realms of possibility.

Be surprised if the court case get's settled, I get the impression Standing probably wants his day in court after everything, I'd also be surprised if Clem is working in football circles with Standing unofficial or not, if the FA get wind of it then it would help their case to punish the football club as it would still be going on.

Your last point is a bit feeble IMHO, there are many ways he can get the new regime in touch with the right people without transgressing any EFL or FA rules. He’s one for you to consider. Here’s my address book, I’m going to make a cup of tea…😉

The arrogance of a team in our own league, no wonder everybody hates them, if it was the Shitheads who have some very good young players I could understand it but in the same league? they make I laugh. https://gaschat.co.uk/thread/18200/loans-swindon

If you based views of STFC fans on a few posters on here you would get the same conclusion, and as for Facebook.....

Thats exactly the point, the people shouting him down are saying that its stupid to strengthen us at their expense, not shouting him down for saying we need their cast offs. To be fair, some of our own fans act as though there's no chance things will improve for us.
That is also very true, the usual suspects thinking we will never sign any new players and relegation is the only option.

Most windows are pulled to, no idea why the transfer one has to be closed so vigorously!
