Again. It's hardly far-fetched that a manager just does not fancy a particular player.
We don't have a new manager. The players haven't met the new manager even though he may well know them. I admire your optimism but come on, this is surely down to the prospect of the not being paid for an unknown weeks and the fact that we don't have a squad, haven't started training and and things stand look like we will struggle next year if we don't go bust fist. Clearly thinks he can get a better offer elsewhere, unsurprisingly. Probably see him back to Exeter

This can be nothing other than a case of "Hello Mr Agent, these chancers aren't going to pay me, get me the fuck out of my contract, thanks, bye".

Somebody had to agree to terminate his contract so maybe that was Power
Would have to be him at the moment, as has been pointed out he’s the one not paying wages, so he must be the one making any decisions

“I would like to thank Swindon Town FC for the opportunity to be part of the club, however due to family circumstances at this current moment I am unable to fulfil relocating to be part of the team.
My family and I have thought about this decision and feel our commitments require us to remain in Exeter for the foreseeable future. I am grateful to the Chairman, Lee Power for allowing this to happen. Having read this now - which I hadn't done before - I agree it's unrealistic. And it's really odd for him to thank Power, but I suppose he has to appear professional regardless.

Wanted out but was under contract (and remember contract only started yesterday so he hasn't not been paid yet), Power agrees to rip up contract rather than trying to hold him to it, Sweeney happy he has got a lucky escape. Power is the only rat left who can make a decision.

Power probably put that bit in at the end himself.

This is just Power having no fucks left to give, willing to let anyone and anything go so he doesn't have to pay for any of it, and breaking everything that's left out of spite at having been outmanoeuvred.
On the upside, it least it shows he's moved on in the week since he was making signings. This is end-game territory for a chancer who's behaving like the lowlife he is.
Wasn't it Morshead who said it would only be when he'd gone that the full festering pit would be exposed? Not that anyone is surprised at any of this. I just hope that some of this shit can be made to stick to the scumbag.

I hope the thank power bit was a bit of sarcasm from the press officer (if we still have one)

I very much doubt given what Power is doing now that he is going to be (or at least he shouldn't) involved in the business of football anymore.

He'll rock up somewhere else. Unless he's banned.

Who knows, the social media guy is still pumping stuff out (basically working as a volunteer it would appear) bless 'em. Frankly bizarre that we can get these statements out regarding players but club cannot comment on anything else, I think its got to the stage that Power gets excited when he can get one over on the fans by releasing bad news. At what stage can the unpaid staff just sack it off and refuse to roll up for work?

The interesting one will be whether anyone in the game will touch Jewell with a barge pole after all these shenanigans!
