How is it? Please explain! There is a takeover in process. By all accounts the new owner has a new manager lined up. That manager will want his own players. So, how is it a stretch that the new manager just doesn't fancy a particular player who's already 'sort of' at the club and has not yet signed a full contract? I'm hardly writing some far-fetched fantasy here. Managers turn players down all the time. |

He signs for a manager or DOF he (presumably) knows.
A few days later they have both gone, the rest of the players/staff are not being paid, the council are taking the club to court for unpaid rent and we have no training or pre season arranged.
I can’t imagine it was a hard decision to say “fuck that”.
This is why we need the ownership sorted ASAP
