"Find it all very annoying the way it is wall to wall media coverage. If the manc's wanna do it fine but don't force it on everyone else."

The Mancs haven't forced it on anyone. It was a big deal for them as a city, and rightly so, and whether you'e interested or not it helps newspapers sell more, or tv programmes get a bigger audience. Doesn't mean you have to buy em or watch it, does it?

Quote from: "Bob's Orange"
I was just reading about Harry Gregg, the Man U keeper who survived the crash and saved others, I never knew he was Lou Macari's assistant in the 1986 Div 4 winning team.

He was assistant when Macari took over in 1984; but they both got sacked in Easter 1985 because they hadn't spoken for several weeks. As everyone knows Macari got re-instated 5 days later; Gregg didn't.

So although he was here; he wasn't assistant in 1986; he went the previous year.
