things is really. it shows how society is really. Any normal human being must have respect for people who died in that air crash. Its just common sense so really no one should be saying oh well done city fans etc when it should be natural. Sadly the society we live in, it doesnt work like that.

I have no affiliation with Man Utd but did feel a lump in the throat with the sky build up. Bobby Charlton speaking about it was very moving I found.

I was just reading about Harry Gregg, the Man U keeper who survived the crash and saved others, I never knew he was Lou Macari's assistant in the 1986 Div 4 winning team.

Some real ANTI Man u fans on here....did you give a shit when Jimmy Davis died, and we had a memorial match with his family here, because i wont ever forget him and he wasnt even a Swindon player, just because its 50 years on so what, you cant compare it to a plane crash with people on board who arnt idolized by thousands of people.....if Swindon Town ever lost a team in tragic circumstances i would remember them for ever, thats all that Bobby Charlton and Man u are doing with those who died at Munich.

I cared about Davis because he played here and put his heart and soul into it.His death touched this club. I think the whole Munich thing has been pretty much Media led.Certainly the Manc clubs are right to commemerate it but its been built up as some sort of national thing and quite frankly it isnt.Sure it was a sad event but equally tragic things happen every year.Do we commemerate them? Like I said ,its sad but its fuck all to do with me or STFC.

at the end of the day its someones life, something that should be respected regarles of your relationship with the persons.

and its nothing like if someones mum died either.
if someones Mum died I'd feel bad that person because I'd know them (the person not the mum) and because it was current.
