Made the arduous less than 3 mile pilgrimage to MECA last night for From The Jam.
Have to say that they were very good as were The Selector.

Persuaded the older brother to brush off the cobwebs and put in an appearance as well.
A good night was had by all.

If anyone is interested in a ticket to the near-sellout New Model Army 40th anniversary set at The Roundhouse in London tomorrow (Sunday) night, drop me a message. This is my favourite of theirs:

I was lucky enough to be there last night. Sorry you can't get there RF. Would recommend to any to take you up on the ticket and go.

Bit of a sickener missing out this weekend. I'll pass it on for the price of a pint next time I'm in town to anyone with the good taste to want it at this stage.

Ivo is on Richard Osmans House of Games next week. (Great show!) There are usually a few sport questions, wonder if we'll get a mention?

He was a compere at the Battersea Arts Festival a couple of years ago for some charity thing I went to and he was excellent. Great 'bantz' with the crowd. He's a natural and very quick. Think he does a fair bit on BT Sport now.
