I went to Albania in May for a weekend, it was awesome and I definitely plan to return someday.  Everyone was so friendly and welcoming.  I was worried ahead of the trip but there was no need to be at all.

My sister and her husband went for 2 weeks this summer and absolutely loved it.

They hired a car for a week and went off the beaten track.

They said the people the food the beaches and resorts were phenomenal and cheap

Went to Albania for 2 weeks last year. Toured around the country and loved it. Walking in mountains in the north, interesting capital city, old historic towns and great beaches.
