The USA is full of people with three differing reasons to invest in football - ego trips, real estate and tax efficiency. Many of them combine them to varying degrees. I believe it's also why many celebs invest in Hollywood. The tax system is a complicated jungle, ego's of the wealthy are very stereotypically American and they do know how to make a business return on real estate.

Far Left!!! I am nowhere on the political spectrum, I've never actually voted because I can't find a home. I hate Unions and most Govt administration for example but would open borders completely (I know my view on that is probably only aligned with <1% of any population!), because I am not a fan of the Nation state really (which doesn't really align with a good old fashioned Socialist). I am more a pragmatist mixed with anarchist I guess. I fully understand many of my views don't really align that well! |
