Madjeski's not the only one, I love reading too, I'm currently enjoying "The Donkeys" by Allan Clarke.  About the imcompetance of the British generals during WW1.  Great stuff.

Isn't The Donkeys by Allan Clarke, about cumbersome centre halves in late 60's early 70's English football?

Quote from: "STFCere"
"Swindon deputy chairman Mark Devlin has revealed that the club has recently been in talks with potential new investors.

He said: "There is nothing concrete at the moment but we certainly hope to get them on board sooner rather than later."

To all those that doubted my exclusive on the Alan Ball consortium, here you go.

Once AGAIN, you heard it here first. Alan Ball and another ex england international will invest in Swindon in the near future.

I await your 'bollocks' and other similar comments.  Cool

Just read the adver and Devlin doesnt say that at all....

Lloyd George was guilty as well though, surely.  Didn't Kitchener go down in a sub?

What Barry Kitchener?  I'd whisper that very quietly down Cold Blow Lane.

If Sniffer had it  in his book must be true though.

So Devlin tells the WDP that 'he has recently had discussions with a potential new investor'

But Devlin tells the Adver 'I havent had any contract with potential new investors, but we are always on the look out'

Not direct quotes but you get the point

Swindon are in talks with an investor who does not live in Britain, but he is English.
The money he has would make Madjeski's millions look like small change. The man is a Swindon fan.
He has been to three Swindon games this season.

Where's he been for the last 10 years? Could have used his help before now if he's got that much cash.

Bollocks is what people say when they are clueless of whats going on and can't think of anything constructive.
I would not make a statement without some truth behind it, my previous post was 100% truth and correct.

Would be nice but I approach these things with extreme caution, especially as I don't know you or how trust worthy you are.

What's your source?

''His Arsehole!!!'' excellent reply, now go and tidy your room.
Tails: Without giving his name and my name, all I can say is watch this space, it will happen before the end of the season.
Talks are taking place, that is a fact.
