Whatever tactics you are using Flynn, you need to do the exact opposite. Will be there to vent on Boxing Day, then football can fuck off.

Hang on a minute. Davison? The player many people(maybe not you I concede) thought was absolutely useless and cost us the play offs?

Come on the general consensus on Davison was that he was an alright back up but if we seriously want to get out of this league we should probably aim higher.

Nothing about what he said contradicts what the general consensus was before.

He’d walk into our squad now. Ideal L2 bench option/3rd striker for a team shooting for the play offs.

Yeah, absolutely. Offers something a bit different when chasing a game or even have to hold it up holding on.

I was one who said Davison wasn't good enough to be our primary striker if we wanted to get promoted in the top three.  I stand by it - Wimbledon had him on the bench.  I wouldn't knock having him as an option player, but he is not going to be your top striker.  I'd swap him for Adeloye for example.  Our primary problems are the midfield three, back three and wide players, none of whom are fit for purpose when it comes to defending and only a couple can be relied upon going the other way with regularity.

Bemused by the suggestion we won’t change approach. We’ve conceded 7 goals without response in the last 100 minutes of league football to the juggernauts that are Accrington and Wimbledon.

A few freeloading bastard songs in the pub, a few faint in the ground.
It’s turning.
well, we know who started the pub one don't we 😁

we were to the far right of the ground looking at the pitch. our section sang it loud!

incidentally I admire Wimbledon for the way they came back from being shafted, but at a new ground it's the right size but fucking shit

We're averaging more than 3 goals a game conceded since Flynn's contract extension, if my maths holds. 25 in 8 games.

Third World Train service.
Was told nobody could board the train as it was full and would have to wait another hour.

Squeezed on to the anger of the guard.
He asked if my journey was an emergency?
Do you honestly think I would say no.

Clem running the trains now.

I feel your pain. Going to Bath today was a mistake. Coming back was a bonus. Except Mrs. Fainted on the train…She’s ok. But 45 minutes stood on the train plus the journey time. Arrived 45 late. Walking around aimlessly jostled by a seething mass of humanity. A day I’ll never see again, a bit like going to Wimbledon.

Have to allow for the odd freak result when we don’t concede Smiley

Hearing Stroud Trains tonight from Swindon cancelled.
Hope our Stroud based fans get back home.
