If the protests aren't about refugees, but about illegal immigration then it seems odd that they're holding them outside places housing those seeking asylum and not outside say TNS knitwear in Greater Manchester, a sweatshop supplying Primark, that's been prosecuted for employing illegals.
If what you're implying is that those arriving here by, for example, small boats, cannot be genuine refugees then you're wrong for any number of reasons. 1. International law - you can claim asylum no matter how you arrive in a country. Present yourself to the authorities and claim asylum and you're not an illegal immigrant. Illegal immigrants don't arrive irregularly in broad daylight in open view and then immediately find an authority figure to surrender to. In this country they usually just overstay their visa and disappear into the grey economy. 2. Morally - set up a system by which most people fleeing war, disaster or persecution cannot claim asylum in the UK unless they're in the UK, but give them no legal routes to get here, don't clutch your pearls in shock when they get here another way. 3. Maths - a pretty small percentage of those seeking asylum in the UK in the last few years even arrived "illegally" most arrived in a plane of ferry with valid visa or equivalent. So most people in the hotels these protesters are outside aren't "illegal" even by the media's inaccurate definition.

I think a huge number of vape and barber shops are fronts for illegal activity.

I think its gone a bit beyond accusations, albeit the suspicion in the majority seems to be more ran out of fuel and crashed rather than downed..

Peter Mandelson. Finally, someone we can all agree on. Although his Epsteinyness is probably an advantage in his current role. Welcome to be launched in to the sun once that's done mind.

Absolutely sickening.
It's not going to get better.
Who will want to stand up for what they believe in now? when stuff like this is happening.

I didn't agree with a lot of what Charlie said but he did what a lot of people can't do and engaged in the debate pretty respectfully (most of the time). To sit and let a bunch of people come and insult you for hours on end isn't an easy thing to do.
To shoot a man for sitting and openly discussing political topics, whether you agree with him or not, is a damning indictment of where politics is right now. To see people celebrating it, or justifying it, on social media is sickening.

Spot on. He wouldn't always get it right (who does) but from many clips on social media I've seen, he always encouraged a healthy debate, let people speak their mind and rarely shouted over them.
