Jesus H Christ!!

You lot need to man up.

Win or lose, a trip to Wembley is just about the pinnacle for a club such as ours.

Who cares if the stadium is shite, it's all about THE DAY!

See you all there!

Its my team in a play-off final, 1 game away from being promoted to the Championship.

I'll be going.

I'm a little conflicted here because I'm choosing to watch the home leg on TV with a group of friends & family - so not going to preach to anyone about going.  But...

Its my team in a play-off final, 1 game away from being promoted to the Championship.

I'll be going.

...does sum it up pretty well for me.

Understandable as it would be your first time there, its hardly a surprise that the 2 previous visits have drained excitment levels somewhat about the prospect of visiting the place.

Yay! At least we'll have someone to blame the lack of atmosphere on. :-)

I think I'd feel a bit stupid not being there if we did go up.  That would be the biggest motivator for me.  I was there the last time we were promoted in to Division 2/Championship (at Blackpool, April 1996).  I'd hate not to have been there if we were to manage it again.

All speculative right now though.  First up, Brentford.

First of all, I don't think starting this thread will have too much bearing on whether we get to Wembley or not.

True...I don't think this thread will overcome the fact that this is the year of the German at Wembley.

As I think I have said before, I will not be going IF we do get to Wembley, I would love to blame it on a soulless shite plastic new wembely but the truth is it is my wifes 40th Birthday, and as much as I love the Town I love my bollocks being attached to my body more.
