Just out a matter of interest, would people prefer us to miss out on the play-offs completely or scrape in knowing that's no real likelihood of us winning them? Ordinarily I'd say that making the play-offs from this position would mean that we're hitting form at the right time and would give the team and the fans a boost in terms of confidence. However it seems like there are a lot of people who just expect/want MacDonald to fail and whether we make the play-offs and miss out in either semi-final or final or if we miss out on the play-offs entirely that will only please some. I don't really care what happens. I just hope that people will wipe the slate clean over the summer and give MacDonald a chance because I've no doubt he'll be in charge come August and frankly I'd rather we spent the summer trying to get some answers from the board. |
