and Ritchie who is the bloody division player of the year. We've also lost Thompson for the rest of the season and Miller has played a few games injured and is now out too. Injuries are really taking their tolls on the squad and without Ritchie we just seem to have a lack of absolute quality in the final third of the pitch. The embargo really screwed us over in recruiting replacements.

In terms of following ST, losing Ritchie was the biggest kick in the teeth I can remember for a long time.
Agree that the embargo is costing us dearly now - but I just don't get the feeling that KMac is 'kicking ass' and inspiring the players as I would have hoped.

Sadly - can't see us getting to POs, and if we do get there, I feel that we don't have the form or 'buzz'  to win it. The buzz of the team seems to have been extinguished....

Coventry and Yeovil away were much improved in the second half, so far we sound much better today.

Mark Francis coming on; probably not the best time to give him his debut :0

Anyone else appreciate the irony of someone on Facebook named "themmasterFjortoft" calling for someone to be fired after two months of underperforming? It's almost like he's not aware of the trajectory of Mr. Fjortoft's Town career.

So, are we better this half because:

a. Sheff Utd are sitting back on a 1 goal lead
b. KMac has put a rocket up the team's bum
c. A couple of outstanding individual performances
d. Because we couldn't have been any worse first half

And I'm hoping for a couple of goals today! Just feeling a bit miserable about it all today.....

Where's Miles Storey these days?

Well, he can't do any worse than whichever striker he is replacing (since they haven't scored for months)

Are the next three matches cancelled then?

Based on current form and inability to score, they might as well be.  Although the second half is substantially better than the first, it makes little difference if we don't score.

Just out a matter of interest, would people prefer us to miss out on the play-offs completely or scrape in knowing that's no real likelihood of us winning them?

I never thought I'd say this, but I almost feel like I want this season to end asap.  It's gone from one of enjoyment and real belief to one of utter frustration and disappointment.    I'd rather it wasn't prolonged and further expense incurred by being dumped out in the play offs tbh.
