Can we just get the hilarious and not at all worn out 'better get my boots on' joke out of the way now? Cheers.

This current squad is not good enough to stay up.
As Lambourn Red said hope Power has a plan, fully expecting us to make couple of signings out of nowhere and be confident of survival again within the next week.

Can't. I'm too busy tweeting Simon Ferry asking him to come back to Swindon.

And a cushion for the managers seat in the dugout.

Oh lovely. Haven't bought my ticket for Saturday yet. I may have to now as I do love a lost cause.

Maybe it's time to see Balmy get some game time?

Ojaama, much like Dossevi, was not very good on the pitch for Town but will always have a special place in my heart because he was the best player in our squad on FM.
Him and Jordan Stewart have been unreal as inside forwards for me so far this season with Robert as a 10 and Beeks up top. Currently 2nd in December, if only it were real

Termination of contract.
Zilch (which is hardly surprising).
To be honest the way that he has played if we have got rid without having to pay any cash out thats probably as good as it's going to get.

Perhaps this is Power's masterplan to weaken us sufficiently that he can justify taking over again, to "protect" the manager.

Either that, or he thinks we have enough to stay up and no amount of his money will see us go up - so why cough up?

You can only hope that Power has a very good plan B that involves actually signing players not just loans. A midfield of Traore, Rodgers and Kasim does not bode well as we have already seen earlier in the season. We need at least 1 Centre Back if not 2 , 2 attacking midfielders , a winger and probably another striker if Smith does get sold.
This. The loans have been an issue throughout, too reliant on them to the point we had to drop one. I did expect us to extend a couple of them. At present, things are looking rather shit again.

Out of the five players, I only surprised with the exit of Adam El-Abd. Gladwin and Thompson were only meant to be back for a month and we managed to stretch their deals out.
It's just the timing that's getting people in a tizz. No manager, three starting XI players gone and no adequate cover (currently).
