A few people mentioning sick chants aimed at Di Canio tonight. Anybody know what they were singing?

I'm not sure but Shrewsbury fans did not like PDC's celebrations post-match.

Quelle surprise.

I find the notion of booing Swindon during this run... interesting.

Booing is awfully popular across the board these days.

PDC:
- We were lucky
- First 55 mins Shrews deserved to be in lead
- Acknowledge that Shrews should have had pen and Alan Mac sending off
- After this we dominated
- Before game he thought Town were nervous about game
- Shrews blocked wide areas. We didnt cope with that in first half
- Second half showed our class by turning things around, scored 2 goals and created 4/5 other chances
- Many silly mistakes in the middle of the park today
- Too nervous in the first half but showed quality in second half
- PDC impressed by Shrews in both games
- When asked about Connell coming on he talked more about more discipline at the back when Risser came on.
- Ferry in the middle gave 'less energy but more quality'
- Connell crucial for 2 goals, but the Ferry and Risser played a big part
- Praised Rooneys talent, but commented (I think) on the fact that he drifts in and out of games
- Alan McCormack incident: Didnt see it properly but could have been free kick or penalty and red card. Things even themselves out over the season
- Commented on how good Collins was for Shrews
- Happy to be top of the league but is not celebrating yet. Still a long way to go, but a good position to be in.
- Need to extend gap between us and 4th place before thinking of anything else.
- Talked about fans. Not criticising fans, but there was a moment of booing. Wants fans to support players and help them. Dont expect fantastic football and hammering everyone. Keep calm, wait and say thanks to the players, because they deserve praise.
- Magera departure: To give him first team football. See what happens at end of year. Magera happy to go. Magera tried to contact PDC today to say thank you. Will meet up with him in the summer and go from there. Sounds like the loan is with a possible move in the summer.

Just got back.

Simply that was the WORST Town performance of the season...yet we still beat one of our rivals 2-1 to go top of the league, and equal a club record of 8 league wins in a row.

It's a funny old game

Ol' Ian Longdon on BBC Radio Wiltshire is keen to highlight the fact that the referee is a Wiltshireman.

What are the rules?

I am dreaming of next season already, brilliant and fair play to Connell, unlike others at the club he has knuckled down and worked hard when the manager hasn't fancied him.

As for the boos...most teams get bood off if there losing these days, its more a boo at the result rather than the performance etc,we have the best fans in the league i reckon and more to the point PDC knows this also.

Apparently thats what Graham Turner highlighted when asked about the penalty decision. Said he'd never heard of the ref before and doesnt want to hear of him again!

UUFS - Utterly, Utterly, Fucking, Superb!!!

I've come home on top of the world and crashing into some Jamesons on a school night. Yes we were shit but they weren't that good and offered fuck all up front.

It's about time we had some luck and if they think that was a fucking pen when their player dived (yet again) then they should stay away from the sheep dip.

We had a spell of 30 minutes where the crowd were up, the players were up and Di Canio was a conductor. Ferry and Connell were just out of this world and caused havoc when they came on and having played shit today shows what a piss poor league this is when we can still win and as Leeds as it may be we are too good for this shit.
