dont think JD or cuthbert have to sign, the contract is just extended as have that option

i just think we need more pace and power in the team. Difference for me this year is the loss of greer, paynter, austin, ward, and even amankwaah barely playing. We effectively lost all the strength and the pace with ward and amankwaah. all replaced with more technical players!

then explain to us how he's going to make sure we walk League fucking Two.
Bugger walking league 2.  Job one is making sure we have a team capable of staying in league 2.  When you look at what happened to Oxford, Luton, etc. there is very little difference between us and them.  Momentum in either direction is a powerful thing and we have a serious amount of downward momentum.

Bottom of the league and below a team who have suffered a 10 point deduction is a fucking disgrace.

Personally I'd like to hear Fitton come out, put his hands up and apologise for a series of bad decisions that will ultimately cost us League 1 status.

Two problems Sonic:
1. being a mid-table team with a points deduction still makes them a mid-table team, so it's not surprising we're below them.
2. Fitton may have had his part in the departures (and he always said we were a develop and sell team) but surely the signings are Wilson's responsibility (thereby undermining Fitton's policy).

I wouldnt say play offs but we shouldnt be fucking bottom.
Why shouldn't we be bottom? We're shit! The odd decent player here and there doesn't give us a right to be anywhere else in the league

It would be an insult for JD to play in Div 4, Cuthbert deserves a season there as mandatory punishment for his underwhelming performances this year....

I'll bet there will be no changes as half-time.

Dunno, but I have a funny feeling that we are going to get something out of this game.

I wouldn't be surprised if we get an undeserved equalizer in the last couple of mins.

(Yes, I know Mason has just hit the other post)

More or less five years ago today we lost 2-1 at home to Tranmere as we slid further into the mire, our team was:

Evans
Nicholas
O'Hanlon
Gurney
Smith
Brown
Miglioranzi
Pook
Peacock
Benjamin
Cureton

Not sure which team is worse
