Just download this. Gives you option of original database, 02/03 (.68), 89/90, 93/94 (which I don't personally think is very accurate), 98/99 and a few of the newer ones (latest is March 21).

Download what?

FFS, sorry. I copied the link but forgot to paste. Blame the kids.

Starter Kit installs the game for you, allows you to apply certain patches (speeding up the game, 7 subs, etc) as well as the different databases.

I can find a link to the download on sendspace but when I try to download it, it just takes me to a maintenance page

I managed to get through all that eventually.
Downloaded the start up tool IBIMR posted. Loaded it, selected the database then clicked on play game and it just hung on the please wait...screen.

I gave up

Tavernas and bars open today for the first time since Nov 6th.

We’re booked in this evening (outside only - thank God it’s 30+C today)

I’m not one of those ex pats that like to knock everything British - there’s loads I miss about it.

The weather, though, ain’t one of them!

I hated the British weather. Fucking hated it. It's glorious when it's glorious, but horrendous the other 48 weeks of the year.

It's one of the reasons I got out of there. If not Thailand I'd have ended up somewhere else hot.

Feel for those publicans who probably were fully booked but are unlikely to do much business today. I booked a table at a local place for the end of May BH, hoping the weather will be better.

Even with half of the side of my house still missing I don't miss the English weather.
