The guy that bought me a couple of beers as an enticement to shift tables so that his mates could sit next to him.

He only needed to ask nicely and I would gladly have moved.

But, generosity of spirit should be recognised and embraced, particularly in this day & age.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Fair play to him/them. (and to you to be open to bribes as well)

Was it "I have told you for the last time, leave me alone before I involve the police" ?

A mate, sadly no longer with us, was on Treasure Hunt in the early noughties, and told me it was very distracting having Suzy Perry micked up in his ear.  Smiley

This is a little bit on the evil side but I had to giggle inwardly when the women that I walked past who looked a little lost and was engrossed in her phone (google maps I presume) then walked into a lamp post.

Nothing too serious as her bag seemed to take most of the impact.

I fell over a three foot wall Saturday on the way back from the pub googling to prove Nick Kershaw was a solo artist and definitely not the lead singer of AHA.

Cut my shins nicely.

No, I have no idea how that discussion started.

At times it's difficult to keep up with popular culture... think my knowledge terminates around 2003.
