Fair play to Yungun... won't have been cheap.

According to the Guardian.... today's students are eschewing alcohol, at Fresher's does in favour of trips to pet animals and yoga....

Izzy sounds a bit old skool.

Knowing Izzy she would be one of the young people drinking less

Dutch cyclist Annemiek van Vleuten

In the week she passed out during a dope test due to a problem obtaining blood, then a few hours later went on to win the World Time Trial championships!

On Saturday in the road race, crashed with 95km to go, got back on and chased to finish 7th to discover when she got off her bike at the end she could not actually stand up as she had broken her tibial plateau (basically the top of her tibia in her knee)!

Nails!

Got back from a break in Spain 2 weeks ago and I noticed today that the airline I used, Primera Air, has gone bust today leaving a few thousand people stranded all over the world.

Phew! Bit too close.

I’ve changed my commute to work from train/tube to taking the river taxi thing on the Thames. My commute is longer timewise but it’s so much more relaxing that the change is worth it.

Why so? It’s nice and toasty inside, and they have a bar as well so can work on the beer jacket en route home!
