I know that now. I managed to do it without even removing the cassette because I didn't have the tool to undo the lock ring.

Well done. If you start tinkering you'll end up with a mass of tools such as a chain whips, lock ring bolts, etc

Surely when you explained why you did it, the business deal was in the bag...if American TV shows have taught me anything.

Off to Dublin for the weekend.

On Sunday its the all-ireland Gaelic football final which promises a massive party pre, during and after the match. My missus is from Mayo who play Donegal. I am led to believe that those 2 counties will be empty as everyone shoule be in Dublin. Tried to get tickets but the cheapest I could find online was 400 Euro a piece so no chance!

Need to find something green and black to wear!

The family cat, which had been absent for more almost 48 hours, rolling in unharmed and purring like a cheerful idiot saying: "I had a good time out there doing my thing, what about you losers stuck with responsibilities?"

"I was fed by some other people, their food is better so you'd better up your game in the next couple of weeks or I'm off."
