My wife’s attempt at cutting said crusty loaf. Good god alive. A blind Stephen Hawking could have done a better job. Please, please as an ex butcher I promise you the knives I have are not blunt. Even the serrated ‘bread’ knife is more than fit for purpose.

BBQ food. I could eat is every day.

Was in Newcastle last week and found this place called Reds. They make an amazing range of BBQ sauces but i didnt know they had restaurants. Had the most amazing ribs and wings. so much so i had to make wings and mac and cheese for tea Saturday night. The last night i popped a huge pork shoulder in the slow cooker which i let cook over night. Thats tonight tea sorted.

I need to invest in a smoker.
