Going to a supermarket specifically to get one item. Buying others things and forgetting what you went in there for. Me, this morning.

For me - you could just have stopped that sentence at "going to a supermarket".

City fibre cunts. Turned up outside our house, barriers everywhere and digging outside our drive. No knock on the door, no notice. Asked them why they didn't knock and bloke said you'll have access to your drive at all times and walked off. They had to move the barriers 2 minutes after putting them up as daughter needed to go out. If they'd have asked me if anyone was leaving it would have saved them some aggro. Totally unaccountable bunch of cunts.

They never told us either, but were more than happy to move barriers if we wanted to get out.
The dust frustrated me!

I know this probably is not directly Virgin Media's fault, but I don't miss being a customer of theirs. Totally inept. As for the installation of that box, absolutely ridiculous state of affairs. I think the owners of that house have every reason to stand next to it with arms folded.

Erm... a smaller box was already there in the same position, it's hardly blocked the driveway which is the width of the house, anyone with an ounce of driving ability should be able to reverse onto the drive past that and not fuck up the car next to it...

I'm sure the installers would soon get fed up if that was knocked over each day

Had a similar issue with BT and the fibre upgrade a year ago. I could get off and out of my country pile but the three peasants next door had to negotiate this travesty of injustice 😁 apparently the work was deemed to be something like ‘small works’ or something and they didn’t need to inform the residents.
